Earning makes you a more confident person.

I won't say that money is not important, because it is very necessary. And it is terrible when you have to go without any in your pocket. When I was living alone in Mumbai, my dad used to send me money every month. One month, I had to spend all of it on getting my portfolio done. I was really terrified. I just didn't have the nerve to tell Dad, so I asked my mum for cash!
My first paycheque came from my first film in the south. When I got it, I was stunned to see such a huge amount. It gave me a great high. I gave all the money to Dad.
I want to earn and enjoy the things money can buy. Earning makes you a more confident person, which in turn makes you a better worker. My parents have given me everything and I have never really been short of anything-but I love earning money, to double it, to increase it.
I am too new to earning my own living and there are several things I'd like to do with my income-travel, eat good food, etc. But I can never really figure out what to buy! Currently my passion is buying lipsticks; I have some 100 lipsticks in all colours. But I rarely use them and apply lip gloss most of the time. I also buy books and DVDs and love to watch movies.
I'm not too careful with plastic money-I've lost my credit card on three occasions. My dad has now given me a debit card.
It disturbs me to see poverty all around-I feel God hasn't made everyone equal. I try to contribute in my own way.
I think that one should have a balanced attitude to money; money will come and money will go and one should be able to deal with that.
